Hey, I’m Becky, I’m 21 and have moved from a town called Shrewsbury, In Shropshire. Before coming to university, I studied health and social care at college, then after working in retail for a while I became a support worker. I worked as a support worker for over 55’s and provided care and social support to them. Throughout college and working I also volunteered at least one day a week at the local day centre for homeless and vulnerable people, I also worked with their outreach service which visited homeless throughout Shropshire. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my friends, going to theme parks, shopping and walking the dog – I especially enjoy visiting new places to walk! I also enjoy learning about history, and I do a lot of reading too. I'm also an animal lover and enjoy spending time with my pets!
I moved to Liverpool to study Paramedic science at LJMU. I decided to choose LJMU as it was one of the university’s that stood out to me – I loved the opportunities and placements they had available. I also loved Liverpool - Liverpool is such a fun and diverse area with plenty to do and see, I'm excited to see what the next few years have in store!
